We're seeking a results-driven Internal Recruitment Manager with start-up energy, an analytical mindset, and a strong work ethic. You will have the unique opportunity to design, develop and give input into the Internal Recruitment experience at Makosi while working directly with senior management across several business areas on talent planning, forecasting and execution.


This position demands a balance of creativity, drive, and interpersonal savvy that will position you to play a key role in advancing a more accessible, diverse and equitable talent base through our hiring practices.

Duties

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

  • Creating and implementing a resourcing strategy and methodologies that will align and meet the strategic vision of the organisation internal recruitment requirements and objectives.
  • Creating and designing innovate hiring methodologies.
  • Developing and implementing mechanisms that will improve sourcing efficiencies.
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting the team to successfully execute and strategically deliver on strategic and high priority hiring objectives.
  • Contributing towards shaping a personal world-class hiring experience for all applicants by influencing the full recruitment life-cycle to enable the function to develop lasting relationships with candidates, internal stakeholders and internal departments.
  • Design and drive creative recruitment strategies leading us to further expand, increase and take advantage of our competitive advantage in the market.
  • Drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process even smarter and more efficient and use your strong communication and influencing skills to tell vibrant, meaningful and impactful stories using the data to influence decisions.


Preferred Experience:

  • Recruitment management and sourcing experience across Sales & Marketing, Talent & People and general supporting operational functions 
  • Successful recruitment function delivery against set targets
  • Vast network and knowledge in Sales & Marketing, Talent & People and general supporting operational functions in a fast paced corporate, professional services or agency environment
  • 5+ years of resourcing, team & process management, Client success, or recruitment B2C experience and management
  • Experience managing Client experience for higher value services and successfully growing that over time while maintaining high and efficient recruitment metrics & targets
  • Ability to understand clients' business goals, anticipate future needs, and develop solutions
  • Ability to develop relationships, optimize internal B2C engagement, and evangelize service offerings through strategic sourcing solutions
  • Experience in building strong customer relationships and acting as a true consultant and advisor to business leaders on recruitment.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex problems clearly and concisely to different audiences (Managing Partners, HR Leaders, Product Managers, Engineers, Sales)
  • Excellent commercial communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) - strong listener who makes people feel understood; can be inspiring and fun while being capable of flexing to different audiences
  • Collaborative team player who takes the lead in driving initiatives, working across teams and structuring approaches to new opportunities
  • Has the ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented environment, solve problems creatively, think on his/her feet and be comfortable in new situations working with multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire Client loyalty and adoption
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building strong internal and external relationships
  • Consistent track record of highly-professional Client service in a fast paced, dynamic environment
