We're seeking a results-driven Talent Specialist with start-up energy, an analytical mindset, and a strong work ethic. This role will be responsible for guiding consultants through our hiring process and you will have the unique opportunity to identify, source and hire the top industry consultants who bring great technical knowledge, an innovative mindset spirit connect them to the magic of working at Makosi.


This position demands a balance of creativity, drive, and interpersonal savvy that will position you to play a key role in advancing a more accessible, diverse and equitable talent base through our hiring practices.

Duties

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:

  • Identify and acquire top talent and achieve quarterly hiring goals
  • Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every consultant throughout the recruitment life cycle from application stage to offer
  • Acting as a true expert throughout various stages of the recruitment cycle by driving the interview process, evaluating consultants' skill levels and matching top talent to our amazing on-project opportunities
  • Drive, deliver and taking overall responsibility of the overall standard of all top talent profiles within your dedicated and allocated consultant pool
  • Source active and passive talent through driving and continuously increasing consultant referrals, internal and external talent networks, internal databases and research.
  • Build and maintain a high level of engagement with consultant talent pools, keeping them informed and sharing with them the various ongoing opportunities that we have on offer.
  • Provide timely feedback to consultants post all client interview requests
  • Negotiate and successfully close complex offers with successful consultants.

Role Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting technical talent in an agency or corporate setting with proven ability coach and develop a team.
  • Full-cycle recruitment and sourcing experience within the Accounting, Advisory and professional services industry.
  • Vast network and knowledge in CA(SA) and related Accounting Industries.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands. Self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to organize, analyze, and communicate data to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand clients' business goals, anticipate future needs, and develop solutions
  • Ability to develop and maintain long lasting relationships
  • Excellent commercial communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) - strong listener who makes people feel understood; can be inspiring and fun while being capable of flexing to different audiences.
  • Collaborative team player who takes the action in driving initiatives with the aim of executing top results
  • Has the ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented environment, solve problems creatively, think on his/her feet and be comfortable in new situations working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire Client loyalty and adoption.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building strong internal and external relationships
  • Consistent track record of highly-professional Client service in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's Degree
